Gil Medical Center of Gachon University opens the office in Mongolia

Gil Medical Center of Gachon University held the opening ceremony with those in charge from two countries, in the prestige center in Ulaanbaatar on the second of this month. This office would be used for good follow-up service for Mongolian patients who had surgery and treatment in Gil medical center as well as for foothold of attracting new ones. Gil medical center and Incheon Metropolitan City signed MOU with health authority of Ulaanbaatar and decided to cooperate closely with medical tour, health policy, and medical treatment support.


Baek, Jeong Hm, the chief of the international medical treatment center, mentioned “57% of foreign patients who came to the hospital in 2012 were from Mongol, and we did 160 surgeries so far to the Mongolian children with cardiac disease. This office will foster the medical interaction between Korea and Mongol.”
