Collaborative Research Between Gil Hospital and Postech to Take Off

On the 9th, Gil Hospital of Gachon University (Lee Myeong-cheol, Director of the Hospital) and Postech (Pohang University of Science and Technology) have hosted a conference to vitalize their collaborative research at the Clinical Experiment Center of Gil Hospital. On the conference, Lee Myeong-cheol, the director of Gil Hospital, Lee Geun, Assistant Director, and Kim Yoon-geun, the director of Postech Biotechnological Research Center, attended the conference to discuss operational solutions to vitalize the collaborative research. In March, 2011, Gil Hospital and Postech signed a memorandum of understanding for interaction and cooperation to lead the public health industry. They gathered their inclination to arrive at the curriculum to develop control technology of curable disease or to fulfill the education for basic and clinical convergence. At the conference, they discussed specific procedures for forming an organization committee, securing a place for collaborative research, holding a regular seminar, and developing a training program.
